In Algarve each municipality sets its own tourist tax, so what you pay depends on the town your accommodation is in, not the airport you fly to. Towns with a tax: Faro, Albufeira, Portimão, Loulé, Lagoa, Olhão, Vila Real de Santo António. Anywhere else in Algarve: no tourist tax found.
Faro municipal tourist tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Faro)
